Site description
The Tettuccio spa establishment is one of the most famous spas in Montecatini Terme. Built in the late 1700s and modernized in the early 1900s, the architectural complex has a monumental structure with arcades and a dome in the center. The spa complex is located in a monumental park with ancient trees.

The survey of the complex was carried out with 3D laser scanner technology. The development of a highly reliable 3D model was added to the elaboration of the drawings with photoplanes.
The 3D model was used as a support base for a GIS system on the individual architectural elements characterizing the complex.
The GIS system was designed to support the management of the restoration site.

From the GIS system it is possible to extract thematic maps on the various site operations. By setting up a management framework for the construction site, the model becomes a repository system of the activities carried out and a database functional to the control of the restoration.
